Paul Schrader Presents: Kaagaz Ke Phool

The first release in the TWIN notion Micro Cinema Presents series.

When we asked filmmaker Paul Schrader to choose a film for 30 seats in Tulsa, he chose Guru Dutt’s Kaagaz Ke Phool (1959) — a haunting, self-reflexive film about cinema, artistic obsession, love, failure, and the fleeting nature of fame. Today, the film is regarded as a landmark of Indian cinema, celebrated especially for V.K. Murthy’s extraordinary black-and-white CinemaScope photography.

This limited-edition tee was created to commemorate Schrader’s recommendation and the films, filmmakers, and conversations that shape the TWIN notion Micro Cinema.

A Length

Place the end of the tape beside the collar at the top of the tee (Highest Point Shoulder). Pull the tape measure to the bottom of the shirt.

B Width

Place the end of the tape at the seam under the sleeve and pull the tape measure across the shirt to the seam under the opposite sleeve.

C Sleeve length

Place one end of the tape at the top of the set-in sleeve, then pull the tape down until you reach the hem of the sleeve.
